COOKIE POLICY

1. Who uses cookies
The website operator and personal data controller is TIENS SLOVAKIA, s.r.o., Company ID No. 35 846 895, with its registered office at Námestie SNP 2093/13, 960 01 Zvolen, Slovak Republic. Contact: office@tienssk.sk, +421 2 4363 1977. This Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on tienssk.sk and in the Slovak e-shop at b2c-sk.tiens.com. Third-party interfaces to which we merely link are governed by their own policies.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small data files stored on or read from a visitor’s device. Browser local storage, pixels, session identifiers and other technologies may operate in a similar way. Some are necessary for operation, security, login, the basket or saving your choice; others are used for preferences, analytics or marketing.
3. Categories of technologies
• Strictly necessary - enable basic operation, security, login, the basket, forms and storage of cookie choices. They are used only to the extent necessary.
• Functional / preference - remember optional settings such as language or currency. Where they are not strictly necessary for a service requested by the user, they are activated on the basis of consent.
• Analytics - help measure traffic, website use and conversions. They are activated only after consent.
• Marketing - are used for campaign measurement, advertising audiences or ad personalisation. They are activated only after consent.
4. How we obtain and manage consent
On the first visit, we display a cookie banner that allows you to accept all optional technologies, reject them or set individual categories. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are not activated before consent, and their choices are not pre-selected.
The “Reject all” option is presented in the first layer of the banner as an equivalent choice to “Accept all”. Rejection does not prevent use of the website’s basic functions. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time just as easily through a permanently available “Cookies” or “Cookie settings” control. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
To a proportionate extent, we record the time, information version and selected settings so that we can demonstrate consent or rejection. We request a new choice if the purposes or range of providers changes materially.

The following overview is based on the publicly accessible configuration checked on August 26, 2026. The specific identifier may vary according to the section visited, language, login status and browser settings. The current cookie banner must remain aligned with the technologies actually deployed.

6. Third-party providers and transfers
The website publicly loads components of the Bitrix/Bitrix24 platform, TIENS global CRM and form infrastructure, and Weglot translation services. The Slovak B2C e-shop uses TIENS global e-commerce infrastructure and lists Google Analytics in its cookie centre. When these functions are used, providers may process technical data such as the IP address and information about the device, request, language and security.
Where processing includes a transfer outside the EEA, we use a mechanism permitted by the GDPR, in particular an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses and, where necessary, supplementary measures. Further information about personal-data processing is provided in the Privacy Notice.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or other external websites do not by themselves mean that their cookies are stored on the TIENS website. After you follow a link to an external website, that website operator’s policies apply.
7. Browser settings
You may also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This does not replace consent required on the website, and blocking strictly necessary cookies may restrict login, the basket, forms or other functions. First withdraw previously given consent in the website’s Cookie settings; you may then also delete stored data in your browser.
8. Changes, contact and supervision
We update this overview when technologies, providers, purposes or storage periods change materially. If a change significantly affects the consent already given, we will request a new choice.
This Policy is effective from August 26, 2026. Questions may be sent to office@tienssk.sk. Compliance with the rules on storing information or accessing information on a device is supervised by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of the Slovak Republic; personal-data protection matters also fall within the competence of the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
